INSTALLATION

PREP FIRST:

To ensure your graphics adhere properly, prepare the plastics or surfaces first. Remove old graphics or stickers from the plastics or surfaces and clean them thoroughly. You can apply heat to the old graphics or stickers to soften the adhesive and make the removal process easier. 

All surfaces, especially brand-new plastics, which come out of the factory with a wax coat, need to be wiped down and cleaned using an appropriate solvent before applying new graphics. We suggest using Denatured Alcohol and a Grease Remover.

Wipe the plastics down thoroughly with the solvent, and let them air dry before you begin the graphics installation process.


INSTALL:

When installing new graphics, taking your time and avoiding rushing the process is essential to minimize the likelihood of mistakes or issues. There are several different methods of installing graphics that are commonly used, and all are acceptable as long as they achieve the desired outcome. If you need extra guidance, many third-party tutorial videos are available online.

We advise against using water or soap to ease the application of graphics, as this can damage the adhesive and decrease the kit's durability. Our graphics are die-cut, so you can lay each piece onto the appropriate plastic to ensure proper alignment before applying it. If you notice that any pieces do not fit correctly, please get in touch with us immediately. We are committed to providing the best customer service, will correct your order, and will offer any necessary assistance.

To apply the graphic, start by tearing off a small section of the backing paper and sticking it down while ensuring the entire decal is still aligned on the plastic as desired. Press down firmly on the exposed section, then remove more of the backing paper and repeat the process across the graphic.

Heat is essential when installing our graphics. It is crucial to have a heat gun (not a hair dryer) on hand to warm up the material, making it soft and pliable and easier to install around sharp edges or curves. However, be careful not to overheat the graphic, as it may become too soft and challenging to work with. Take it slow to find the right heat level.

Once your whole kit is installed, go over the entire kit with the heat gun, pressing down on any lifting edges. This technique will activate the glue and help it adhere firmly to its new surface. Repeat this once or twice daily for the few days following installation, as some corners or edges may lift as they cool down. This process will train the graphic to stay down after a few repetitions.

All of our products are made to order. The lead times vary for each item, so checking the item's listing description for the turnaround time is recommended. Please note that estimated standard lead times are not guaranteed, especially during busy times such as the holidays and the racing season. Please get in touch with us if you want to know the most accurate lead times. Once you place your order, it will be processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays), and you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

We are excited to inform you that we provide free shipping services to all destinations within the lower 48 states of the United States. However, shipping rates for Alaska and Hawaii may vary depending on the location and size of the package. Please get in touch with us to receive accurate shipping rates to these destinations.

International Shipping Rates and Estimates

If you are interested in international shipping, kindly reach out to us. Please note that your order may be subject to import duties and taxes levied once the shipment reaches the destination country. These charges, including VAT, are your responsibility as the customer, and Graphics Guys cannot be held accountable for them.

Local Pickup

We provide free local pickup at our offices on Circle Drive, eliminating the need for shipping. Additionally, we offer installation services for an extra fee. To opt for local pickup, you can place your order and choose the local pickup option at checkout. After approving the proof, we will prepare your order and have it ready for pickup within 3 to 5 business days. We will notify you via email and provide instructions when your order is ready. Our in-store pickup hours are from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday.

How do I check the status of my order?

Once your order is shipped, we'll send you an email notification with a tracking number that you can use to track its status. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you have not received your order within five days of receiving the shipping confirmation email, kindly contact us. Please provide us with your name and order number, and we'll investigate the matter.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

We require a physical address for all domestic orders, as we do not offer shipping to P.O. boxes. We ship via UPS Ground.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

If you purchase an item that has yet to be customized and wish to return it, you have until 15 days from the shipment date to return it. However, you'll be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note that the refund can only be returned to the same card used to purchase the item. When returning the item, it must be in the same new condition as when you received it, without any noticeable wear and tear, use, or scratches. A refund will be issued only after receiving the item in said condition. Please allow two to three weeks for the refund to be processed, depending on the product's condition and your banking institution.

Custom Item Returns:

If an item has been customized, such as a kit with names or logos, it cannot be returned for reasons other than warranty issues.

Warranty:

 At Graphics Guys, we want you to feel confident with your purchase. That's why we stand behind our products by offering a warranty that covers quality artistry, materials, and defects in production. This warranty is valid for one year from the original date of purchase.

However, it's important to note that we do not cover misuse or intentionally destructive use of our products. If you have a problem covered under this warranty, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion. But please remember that the customer will be responsible for shipping charges to and from our facility.
